Another fashion of damaging teeth includes rubbing salt or ash on them. Salt is quite abrasive and works like sandpaper and can damage the layer that protects your teeth. Do not ever try to rub your teeth with salt, crushed eggshells, or wood ash.

Natural remedies are effective. However, they have their limitations.

Home remedies help get rid of surface stains. If your teeth are stained with coffee or paan stains, natural remedies can help to give you a shade lighter.
